Alim Section

Apart that Tajweed is being taught in Hifz class (1 hour/day) and in ‘Alim class (1 hour /day till 5th year), there is a special department for those who want to be specialist in reading the Quran. This section is being called Takhassous fi-tajweed.
It is essential to read Holy Quran with rules of pronouncing (tajweed).–In Darul-Uloom Kantharia each student is being teached (pronouncing) tajweed with full careand attention
TILL TODAY 1850 student graduated in Tajweed department.

Nazra Section

This section is run under the supervision of Tahfizul-Quran.
In this section, the students come from various states from INDIA. They learn to read the Holy Quran and also urdu Kitabs.

At present, total students are 780 are there are 17 classes.

This section is essential for basic introductory Islamic education.

Hafiz Section

Once should know that the more precious gift that Rasouloullah (SAW) left us is the Quran. And, History proves us that the best way to protect this gift is to learn it by heart. That’s why in Darul-Uloom KANTHARIA, there is a full department called “Shoba-e-Tahfizul-Quran”. Dedicated to this task, and as you can see on the photoson our website . there are now several buildings dedicated for the Hifz classes.

This one important Department in which with full care of Arabic Tajweed .Holy Quraan is being memorised (hifz) . Along with hifz (memorising) Urdu books and writing is also being teached. Alhamdulillah in the Tahfizul Quran section, more than 52hifz (memorising) classes are training 942 students: they are being memorising the holy Quran.

All these Students have at least one hour of Tajweed (pronouncing) class per day with a special Qâri. As we know, it is much necessary to read Holy Quran with rules of pronouncing (tajweed). In the Darul Quran, each student is being teached (pronouncing) tajweed with full care.

There are 52 classes in this section.

About 3877 students has completed their Hifz in Darul-Uloom KANTHARIA.

Moreover, every Wednesday after Isha Namaz, all the students of Darul-Quran has their Anjuman for about an hour: They learn Islamic Manners, Duas and important Maslas.

Ifta Section

The judicial wing of Darul Uloom comprises of 3 Muftis and a class of Ulemas training to be Mufti. Together, they offer spiritual guidance on wide ranging Islamic and Social and ethical issues and Masail from all over the world, including matters such as land disputes, inheritance, family law, trading etc.

The 3 Muftis composing Darul Ifta are as above:

< > Mufti Gulamullah Kavi Sahab (DB)
< > Mufti Ismail Sarrodi Sahab (DB)

The Darul Ifta solves about 10 masaails per day.
